Autostereoscopic 3D Content Creation

At Mediastation we are always at the forefront of technology especially all things 3D! We are one of the first UK studios to harness this new technology which lets viewers watch 3D moving images without the need for any special glasses. WOWvx example

How does it work?

3D perception is based on the way the human brain and eyes work. Each person’s eye views a scene from a different angle and generates a unique image. The brain merges the images to create a single picture. The slight difference between the image from the right eye and the image from the left eye allows the brain to judge the depth. Through lenticular lens technology, an autostereo screen gives each eye of the viewer sees a slightly different picture, there by giving the 3D effect.
